Big Mike's Steakhouse - Auburn

Austin was our waiter: friendly and helpful! Delicious ribeye! Bavarian bread with cinnamon butter was too delicious for words! The music is my favorite, country! Not too loud, could still have pleasant conversations. The tvs had sports so folks could watch if interested. Wonderful experience!

I dont know if this was the server Brianna first day but she was extremely rude with no manners . Got our food super late and fries was burnt 2/10 very hostile atmosphere

Love the place, but my steak was a little stringy and had a lot of gristle. Not the best quality steaks in town.

So we were told by a co worker of my boyfriend that this place served him the best rib eye that past his lips. He is a texas corn fed boy so we had to have the best steak in this area. When we arrived the wait was minimal. We started with fried crab claws. It was like eating chicken skin with no crab flavor. I haven't eaten them before but it seemed like they were over cooked. Disappointing for a $36 starter. We share food so he got the ribeye with the butter and asparagus and I got the sweet water stacks. Crab cakes green fried tomatoes and blackened shrimp with asparagus and a salad. They brought bread to the table that was doughy. I had 1 bite of the rib eye and decided that was all I needed my crab cakes seem to not be homemade the fried green tomato's were TINY the shrimp was ok. I ate half of one and took the rest home. The butter on the steak wasn't that good but once he spread it on there it was final. So the food was ok not great not in edible. The service was good our waiter was really good. The atmosphere was really good. We had 2 drinks and appetizer and 2 meals and it was $150 without a tip. For subpar food. I was really disappointed for the first date night in over a month be not the best.
