El Rey is a pretty consistent place to get good Mexican food. Its not extremely authentic but its good. Their quesadillas and nachos are my favorite. Lunch specials are all 7.95 with TEA ONLY. people get confused about that. But come on thats really fair. I cannot begin to explain our experience here. We come here very often and love the food and have had nothing but good experiences, but tonight was horrible. Not one single order was right at our table and we informed the server of this (very politely) and she was so rude and let us know that if we wanted our food to be correct, I would need to go talk to the kitchen about it (?) she was so disrespectful to the point that my husband had to call the manager over to settle this. We saw several tables she was waiting on and none of their orders were correct either. We still had to pay for our meal even though it was horrible and received no apology. The worst experience at a restaurant weve ever had.
