Four Seasons is a GREAT company to do business with. I called Richard to come in and redesign our aging landscape around our company gazebo. He came up with a detailed plan including cost, work required, and a timeline. Once I gave them the go ahead, they came in and removed the old landscaping and provided us with a beautifully landscaped gazebo. All on time and in budget. On the front end of the project, everything was great. We met to discuss plans, costs, and time to complete the project. I hired them to spray (kill), till, grade to repair an uneven surface created by trucks during a driveway installation, and re-sod my front lawn, as well as do some french drain work around one of my flower beds. Redoing the backyard was also on the agenda, though it was made tentative on how this job turned out. Upon completion of a day's work, the yard looked fantastic. I was overall pleased with the way it turned out, and hand delivered the check immediately. After some time and some rain however, it became apparent that there were issues with the kill, till, grade portion of the project. Parts of the freshly sodded area began to pit and created a significantly uneven surface. Underneath the sod, I found topsoil mixed with piles of leaves suggesting the area had not even been raked fully before the sod was laid. The areas of the yard previously damaged by heavy equipment resurfaced, and the same dips and grooves I paid to have repaired became apparent again. At this point, I'm not even sure the area was tilled. I was not present when this portion of the job was being worked on, and it altogether seems that the area was just leveled off with topsoil, lightly watered, and sod was laid without packing. And now much later, I'm finding myself weeding the same section of the project multiple times per week as if the underlying old lawn was not killed and is now growing up through the new sod. On top of all this, the mailman ran over a small area roughly a week after the project was completed, adding to the frustration of it all. I contacted Richard about these things, and he promptly responded that he would look at it the following week. Completely understanding the amount of work that changing seasons bring and overall how busy landscaping can get during the spring/summer months, I remained patient and offered kind reminders on four separate occasions about coming to look at the yard when I hadn't heard from him. These reminders were responded to relatively promptly, but coming to look "next week" turned into the NEXT week, then the week after that unendingly. At the time of this review, two months and one week have passed since initial contact regarding issues with the project without an appearance at the property, much less a solution to the problems we discussed. I do not write Google Reviews often, but only when I've had a truly wonderful or terribly negative experience. I'm simply trying to save someone from having the same experience I did. I am now having to hire someone else to redo a subpar job, and it's safe to say I won't be using this group for projects in the backyard. So I would strongly suggest either hiring someone else or, if you're dead set on using this group, making sure you're present to oversee the whole of the work.

Yard was SEVERELY neglected by previous occupants. I began contacting landscapers in the area to assist me in enhancing the landscape. Several companies did come out, promise a quote. Not ONE got back with me. A lot of landscapers aren't concerned with residential prospects as they tend to be more labor demanding and (sometimes) not as profitable as certain commercial customers. In March 2019, I started reaching out to local landscapers and found Four Seasons. I got in touch with a gentleman by the name of Rich and we set a time to meet at my home to discuss the project. He showed up on time, we had a discussion, agreed on what would be done, when, and the cost. The job was completed and exceeded my standards. Rich came up with a game plan and the outcome was dead on. Given all of the excellent qualities, Four Seasons is the best Landscaping service in the Auburn, AL area hands down.
