Visiting Angels

This place rude and highly disrespectful. I have never dealt with anyone so disrespectful in my life. Please beware and find some place better. They are constantly hiring and I am almost certain its because of office staff.

I am a 58 year old male caregiver who became a CNA 2 years ago, after spending 32 years in the engineering field in Birmingham. I love my job with Visiting Angels in Anniston, AL. They run a tight ship and that benefits both our clients and our caregivers. There are several things I like about our management group in Anniston. First, they "go to bat" for our clients. Whatever stone needs to be turned over to aid the clients, they get it done. For example, I have listened to family members of a client talk about how our management team is working on a solution to a problem which will benefit their loved one. It's always nice to hear others talk positively about our services! Also we often have multiple groups of people and healthcare professionals who need to communicate effectively for the health and wellbeing of our clients. Visiting Angels in Anniston is skilled at pulling all such groups together and opening channels of communications between the parties to benefit our clients. I've seen them do this more than once. Caregivers like myself benefit from this too, because communications is the backbone of our jobs! Visiting Angels management group in Anniston also communicates promptly and effectively with their caregivers! Many times I have been taking care of a client in their home and ran in to a question I needed answered right away by the office. Within SECONDS I get an answer to my question or a promise by the office to get me an answer shortly. They ALWAYS come through. I've been highly impressed with their promptness on everything caregivers and clients need at the moment. And by the way, I volunteered to write this review because I recently needed solutions for my Visiting Angels client. They came through for me. Thank you Lynn and the team! Y'all Rock!

Well for starters it was working out for the day I applied but they have the tendency to wanna handle people very unprofessional and if you have any type of commit on how they proceed themselves towards you they fire you right then and their without seeing that you didnt say anything out of place but over looking how the worker there in the office comes off too people and this has been done over and over including the director! They have some slicks mouths but when you try to correct them in a polite way youre fired on the spot no explanation or nothing . When will the discrimination? Stop I didnt appreciate how I was treated and I dont feel like I did or said anything wrong and I definitely will be handling this situation asap ! From the director up to the female that sent me the rude message that I responded back too and I also keep all them for moving forward with what I need to do ! Ive never in my life been to a job where the people in the office disregards respect towards the workers you cant talk to people any other way and dont expect anything back I will have my last say I promise you that on this situation its not over with ! I lost a job for nothing the director came at me and not at the person who thought it was okay to discriminate towards me so therefore they all will pay for it together collectively as a whole
