I am very disappointed with Belk. I have been a loyal Belk shopper for years, spending over $1,200.00 with them last year. Unfortunately I didnt get the managers name at the Alabaster store. However, he refused to return 2 pairs a sandals that are within Belks standard return policy window. I attempted to return the sandals and was told that the return window is 30 days. After researching on the Belk website the stated return policy is 90 days. I reached out to Belk via email to ensure I could return the sandals that did not fit me. They said the sandals could be returned in store or shipped back. Shipping is difficult for me so I went back to the store and attempted to return them again. He was quite rude and stated that even though I had it in writing that I could return the sandals he could not do anything for me because store policy is 30 days even though the website says 90 days. He stood and at the register and argued with me without being able to explain why he couldnt return them when I was told I could by Belks customer service team. I am attaching screenshots of Belks return policy. His actions have cost Belk a loyal customer because I will not continue to support a business that treats customers in this manner. Belk needs to decide on a clear return policy because this is not fair to their customers.
