Avis rented a car to me with a nonfunctioning infotainment system including no backup camera, no hands free phone and not even a radio.

When attempting to return vehicle at 210 state st Brooklyn location on 03/31 I asked the Avis employee (which was taking care of a couple) where to return the vehicle. He instructed me to return it in the garage around the corner which i did. When heading back upstairs to return the keys, the guy was nowhere to be found, doors were closed, and lights were off. I had gotten there right on time to return it so to my understanding the employee was supposed to wait for the keys and complete the return process. Being that he was so desperate to leave I had to then go back into the garage, pay $22 to exit the garage and return it at the LGA location where I was charged another $97 to do so. Very upset that I had to pay another $97 due to his negligence.

Told me they were closed at 2:50pm when they allowed me to schedule for 3pm pickup. Wasted $40 on an uber to another location

Excellent service, at the office they gave us the requested vehicle and the management was fast. You just have to be careful with the staff who delivers the vehicle because they try to harm customers, however we made the exception to the administrative staff and they corrected what happened.
