        This environment is very polite to the students and careful with them.This place is a very cooperative place and we all have to enrol our 3-k and Pre-k students here at this daycare.The teachers are the BEST !!! .Especially Ms.Anna and Ms.Emily

        Our child's vocabulary has improved greatly at this school. I am taking one star off because the ramp is not accessible after 4pm, when my child stays until 6pm for after school at the cost of $650.00 per month. Last Friday, I complained that its illegal to block the ramp with garbage bags, because parents with strollers and bikes can't get around the garbage. Today they sent a message that the ramp will be closed after 4pm. Schools are to be wheelchair accessible at all times. In an emergency EMS could use the ramp for easy transport if need be. They said that the city said that they could not take out the trash until after 8pm, so they pile the garbage on the ramp for easy access. They need to hire a night custodian.

      This stage of development is what we at Little Scholars like to call the growth spurt. Each child at this stage is silly, imaginative, and energetic, and they have plenty of opportunity every day to show all the little growing talents they possess. The golden middle between what children can do by themselves and what can be achieved with the support of the teacher is what our curriculum is based on. Each child is guided and monitored through learning activities to get them to the next stage obtaining a new understanding built on both their prior knowledge and the new knowledge gained with the help of dedicated teachers. Little Scholars curriculum had been designed with this in mind, and we have carefully crafted each day to engage every child in conversation and storytelling. In our book-rich environment, every child can increase their vocabulary, improve on grammar and sentence construction, and most importantly develop an understanding that is unique to their world. Through weekly activities like show-and-tell every little scholar will become a storyteller in their own right.
