Cindy is a smart and caring host and the amenities are exactly as advertised. Breakfast was wonderful both days and I got comfortable, restful sleep after a long soak in the jetted tub through both nights I stayed

Though it was due to pure happenstance (vehicle problems) that we ended up staying at the Noble Inn, it ended up being a fantastic experience that I'll never forget. The Noble Inn is in a beautiful old Victorian Maine farmhouse set in a scenic location just a stone's throw from a picturesque lake, and walking distance from the great small town of Bridgton. Innkeeper Cindi was very helpful in guiding us towards the most beautiful and interesting sites to visit, as well as local eateries. I could list our experiences here but the far better experience is in learning about them from locals like Cindi. Speaking of Cindi: I can’t imagine a better host for a place like this. Cindy fits the mold of the innkeeper archetype, a throwback to a time and place that many of us yearn for in this age where real-life human interaction is quickly taking a backseat to digital abstractions. With a direct and personable Texan demeanor, Cindi is welcoming, a great conversationalist, knowledgeable about a variety of topics, has a good sense of humor and is a great cook to boot. She even picked fresh mint from her garden to make one of her delicious breakfast dishes, and on my request didn’t use canola oil in the dishes she cooked for us. Try getting that kind of service in some chain hotel! My wife and I also enjoyed meeting and chatting with some of the other guests, who were similarly impressed and delighted by the old-time charm of the place. We hope to return one day and would enthusiastically recommend the Noble Inn to anyone looking to have a truly rewarding and memorable experience when traveling to, or through, Western Maine.
