TownePlace Suites by Marriott Bowling Green

Stopped for the night on a trip to Michigan, getting too old for 15 hours non stop trips. The attendant at the desk was very helpful and professional. I was so impressed that we brought him back dinner and dessert from the Olive Garden. Room and bed were clean and comfortable. Only cost 14,000 Marriott points for the night which was a significant bargain compared with other Marriott properties. Rooms: Room was bright airy and clean. Bed was very comfortable. It is far enough away from major roads so it was nice and quiet. Food & drinks: Had snacks and drinks available for sale. Free breakfast was typical fare for this kind of establishment, nothing special but I prefer going to get a real breakfast from Panera's or Waffle House.

Fine hotel in Bowling Green. Room was clean and spacious. Not the best continental breakfast, but its free so cant complain too much.

First off the guy at the front desk seemed to be not very ambitious about his job and not very helpful. Two they charge a 100$ non refundable pet deposit no matter what size dog you have! The carpets In the building could use a good deep cleaning they were a bit rough. The bathrooms were a bit odd and dated looking,but we loved it being a 2 bedroom suite. My worst complaints are the food, it was poorly cared for and my 2 boys got food poisoning from the quiche* it was not cared for properly and I had to sick teenage boys, 1 with a serious heart condition that the stress of the sickness cause him to have tachycardias for 4 hours. Thankfully he is able to control them but it takes a lot out of him and he was so weak most of our vacation. Food & drinks: Read above, my two boys got food poisoning from certain foods not being cared for properly.

Disappointing as confirmed toom through Marriott app, got in after long drive and late to know that no rooms were available. Had to drive another 90 min to find another hotel in Louisville getting there after midnight. First time ever having a basic issue and also considering it was confirmed.
