I have bought every important dress at this store, from many winterball dresses to my prom dresses and now my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. This store is so much better than the big stores like David's Bridal. I have always had the best of service from the women that work there no matter what my questions or needs were. Diane that does alterations there is a Godsend. She made my wedding dress fit like a glove and look EXACTLY how I wanted it. I could not be happier with the customer service here. Definitely the place to look before you go anywhere else.

terrible service. each employee says something different than the next. they lost our duke, forgot out discounts, ordered wrong size dresses. a wedding place is suppose to make it less stressful not more stressful.

This is probably the least professional bridal shop my wife's ever encountered. She's been in quite a few weddings before and knows exactly what size dress from David's Bridal she wears, and was confident the size would be similar anywhere she goes. The bride for whom she's a bridesmaid decided to go with this little shop (also known as Blissful Bride), and the staff and processes they have there is shamefully inept. The dress size they ordered for her at this shop was *double* the size she would have gotten at David's Bridal, and initially questioned their decision, stating the dress size she would have gotten elsewhere. They assured her that it was accurate and, being the amicable person my wife is, she trusted their judgement. Well, since she had to order such a large size, the price was exceptionally higher than normal. Whatever.
I should also note that it literally took five months from placing the dress order to the dress arriving. That is simply unacceptable, no matter how far in advance the order is placed.
The dress arrived and it was so obscenely large that she could step into it with all her clothes on and it still fell to the ground. It wasn't even close to the size she needed. We ended up getting it altered, taking it in 9 inches (elsewhere, she wouldn't ever trust this place for alterations). When she showed the staff at the shop the size and how ridiculous their error had been, they merely laughed and said something to the effect of, "Well, better too big than too small, eh?"
Besides that, their unprofessionalism knows no bounds. Their paperwork was messed up to the point that they had forgotten the couple had ordered their tuxedos and at the time my wife went in to pick up her dress, they hadn't even placed the order for the suits (or so they said, who knows what the truth really is). The staff was calling the bride and the shop owner back and forth because details were unsure, and the whole experience was indelibly sour.
If you take nothing away from this review, remember this: stay away from this shop and, for that matter, all "mom & pop" bridal shops like this. Just go with David's Bridal and everyone will be happy, money and time will not be wasted, and your wedding day can be a little less drama- and stress-inducing.

My husband and I have nothing but great things to say about The Wedding Center! From the very beginning, everyone was helpful, sweet, and accommodating. We bought my gown, bridesmaids dresses, both mothers dresses, and flower girl dress from the store. We also rented tuxes for the groom, groomsmen, ushers, fathers, and the ring bearers. They have a great collection of various designers and different price ranges. Connie and Vickie helped me pick the perfect Casablanca gown, and I loved it from the first moment I tried it on! I also purchased my veil and shoes from the store. We had a wonderful experience and will continue to shop there for future special occasions. A big thank you to The Wedding Center for helping make the details of our wedding so special!
