Dr. Powers Foot and Ankle

Knowledgable doctor who seems very unhappy and impatient; was not compassionate with my daughter's genetic bone deformation which he did accurately diagnosis for us. When she looked for assurance, he stated he could not help her any more and walk out of the exam room. If you go, understand his demeanor is off-putting.

My experience with Dr. Powers was similar to others here - he spent less than 5 minutes with me, disregarded anything I said, and told me I was too young to have pain. He was condescending and rude the whole 5 minutes and I left feeling like he didnt hear a word I said. Ultimately, he told me I just needed custom insoles which I paid out of pocket for (insurance does not cover these and they were about $500) and ultimately ended up making my pain MUCH worse. I have truly never had a worse experience at a doctors office and would never recommend this doctor to anyone!

Waited 1/2 hr to be led into the exam room while there was no other patients waiting; then another 1/2 hr for the front desk to verify our insurance coverage. The doctor (Powers) spent less than 5 min. with us in the room. He was rather impatient and condescending when answering my questions. I didn't even finish asking my last question, and he was already halfway out the door. I was genuinely astonished, in a negative way, by his bedside manner. I have another child who needs custom made inlays, and there is no way I would come to Dr. Powers again, and would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Northcutt is amazing and has always been very helpful. It has taken a long time for my broken foot and ankle to start to heal, but with care and patience I am almost there.

Love Dr. Northcutt but when Tammy left his office its not the same! Rude and hateful reception and nurse! I dont recommend them ever!
