Carmen Delgado's Oasis Spa & Salon

First of all I am a huge skeptic of going to new places because in the past it seems when ive brought a picture in of a style I like no one has ever done it that way! I had read good reviews on this place so I gave them a call and made an appointment with Alissa and let me just say no one will EVER touch my hair again but Alissa!!!! She did my hair EXACTLY like the picture and it looked awesome!!!!! If you are looking for a great stylist who knows her stuff I HIGHLY reccomend her!!!! Koodos to Alissa!!!! Shes awesome!!!!

When moving to Bloomington, Indiana in 2010, I have visited several salons ... Aveda included. Although I have found many good salons in Bloomington, Carmen Delgado's Oasis Spa and Salon is the very best. Carmen is often present at the salon and she maintains an upbeat, extremely clean, professional and positive salon atmosphere. In terms of hair care, I was fortunate to be referred to Rachel (Stylist). Rachel has more creativity in designing hair styles than anyone I have come across in larger cities where I have resided. She is fabulous with both cuts and color. In fact, I have referred two men and two women to Rachel ... all have been so satisfied that they now schedule with Rachel on a regular basis. I have received several facials and facial waxing from Carmen Delgado. Again, the facials and the waxing are among the best I have received ... even from much larger salons. Lots of attention to the customer's specific needs. I am never "rushed" ... I leave the salon feeling much more restful than when I entered it. I have purchased the skincare products and really like using them. Finally, I have had a massage with Stephanie and she was very knowledgeable about the effects of work-related stress on the muscular structure. Overall, I am very pleased I have found Carmen Delgado's and I plan to be a longtime customer. I am happy to find such a professional salon/spa in Bloomington!

I first started visting this salon in 2011 in search of someone new to do my hair. I was warmly greeted by the front desk and offered a beverage. I was a little nervous at first because I was used to having the same person do my hair for years. Ali made me feel very comfortable. She is brilliant and does amazing color- especially if you're a blonde. I am frequently asked who does your hair. Thank you, Ali, you're amazing at what you do and such a nice person to boot. The staff members have always been professional. The salon also offers a color analysis to help you decide what colors are best for your skin tone to achieve the best looking you. HIGHLY recommend.

I went to Carmen Delgado's for the first time a couple weeks ago. I knew one of the stylists (she had done my hair before) but I had never been to the salon. Immediately after I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile by the receptionist, who also offered me a glass of water :) When Ali came downstairs to greet me (on time!) she was very friendly and professional, took me upstairs and made sure I was comfortable before asking what I was looking for. I honestly wasn't exactly sure, I had a vague idea, but really just wanted something different. After Ali applied the color (which I love!!) she cut my hair to exactly the length I wanted it! It seems like such a little thing, to have your stylist listen to what you want, but it's a big deal, and I felt confident the whole time in her skill and experience. Not to mention, every other stylist I saw there during my appointment (none of which I knew) all smiled and said hello. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! I have already booked my next appointment, and plan on getting a manicure and facial too :) I highly recommend giving it a try!
