I recently had robotic surgery performed by Dr. Clifford Lewis to repair a leaking mitral valve and an ablation to hopefully correct Afib and a heart murmur. Dr. Lewis met with my husband and me in his office before surgery and went over everything. I knew exactly what to expect during surgery and after. He was extremely thorough in his conversation with us. While the surgery is rough, the recovery is swift. Scarring is minimal. I have no murmur and no Afib. Dr. Lewis has a wonderful office staff, and they were kind and helpful all the way through the process. I am so thankful to Dr. Lewis for fixing my heart problems. He is an excellent surgeon, and I would strongly recommend him to anyone.

I really should have written this many years ago. Dr. Clifton Lewis was a Godsend to our lives in Sarasota Florida. In 2006 he performed a 7 hr surgery on my husband Roger. Roger needed to valve repairs and a pig valve placement. And its not just because the surgery was successful that he deserves accolades. He's a true Physician. And true gentlemen, And true fellow human being always putting himself on your level, never pompous or dismissive etc etc. Sadly Roger passed away in 2009, but we were well aware and as prepared as one can be, knowing this 3-5 yr prognosis was the ultimate outcome. Dr Lewis saved Roger's life and gave him a few more GREAT YEARS that Roger lived & enjoyed to the fullest. I was sad to see he moved back to Alabama. Wondering if he drove his pick up truck there?! Sarasota was blessed beyond words to have Dr. Lewis. Im grateful he was there during the years we were seeking a Dr / surgeon of his expertise. A dedicated medical professional thru and thru. If i were to ever need his type of services I wouldn't hesitate to become a temporary resident of Alabama! Peace and HUGE LOVE to Dr. Clinton Lewis, kind regards, Trish Barber

Doctor Lewis saved my life in 2016 I didnt even know I was as sick as I was he performed a triple by pass on me and you can barely see the scar. Doctor Lewis is the best heart surgeon I would recommend him highly to anyone. Thank you doctor Lewis Lisa Vinson
