I had them blow out my mom's system for winter. They called while on site and said there was no blow off valve but could install it. I agreed and paid them only to find in the spring that they cut and left the main line when installing the blowout. Knowing the system would not work when it started in the spring.

Did business for about 4 years, blowouts, maintenance, etc, including one project that I never even requested a bid on, I just said treat me fair. That project was well over $10K. After paying for my project, the drip system didnt work, joints blew apart and my option was pick up the parts and finish it yourself because I dont have time. This is after I paid. So that year when I checked in to see if I was on the list, I got a hot headed response and was told I will get to it!!! Last year, when the heavy November freeze came in, I checked because it was already late in the season and was told Im booked until the week of thanksgiving. Thanks for not letting me know after getting pissed for asking the year before. Even being a good customer for multiple years, I was shrugged off. Fortunately I was able to get Riverwoods Landscape and Sprinkler, whos a lot nicer to deal with and gracious for your business. The only reason Im leaving a review now, is this. After receiving an email soliciting more business, I said Take me off your list or Ill leave the review you deserve online. Then I got an email soliciting sprinkler blow outs. There are friendlier and better companies to do business with that will show up and not act like your business is an inconvenience.

I pre-purchased their "Green service" early this year that includes them starting up and adjusting our sprinklers in the spring, and blowing them out in the fall. When it came time for spring start up in April, the date they emailed me we would be out of town. I responded immediately letting them know. They never wrote back, and the phone number was never answered, and voicemail box full. It was impossible to get a hold of them. I started my own sprinklers, but never got them adjusted right, which is a bummer because we have some dead spots, which was the entire reason we purchased the green service. In July, I finally received a response from someone via email apologizing. They offered to request a refund, because they themselves aren't authorized to refund, only the owner is. I said I'd rather have someone come out and adjust our sprinklers so our lawn doesn't have dead spots. She said she'd check with the owner. No response from them again, so I emailed in August. She said she's still waiting on the owner. I guess at this point they just took my money and decided to provid nothing? They seemed like a well run organization in the past, so this is very disappointing. I would recommend finding someone else for your lawn care needs, its been a big hassle with no resolution in sight.
