Review: Decent BBQ and Burgers, But Not Worth a Detour
I recently visited Charlies BBQ and Hamburgers for some BBQ and burgers, and while the experience had its highlights, it fell short in some areas.
Lets start with the BBQ: the chicken and ribs were decent, but nothing to write home about. They lacked that wow factor and left me craving something more flavorful. However, I must admit, the BBQ sauce was a standout - tangy, sweet, and just the right amount of smoky goodness.
Now onto the burgers: While they were flavorful, there was something off about them. They didnt quite taste like real meat, which was a bit weird and disappointing. However, if youre open to non-traditional burger experiences, you might enjoy them.
On the bright side, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their warm hospitality definitely added to the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.
In conclusion, if you happen to be in the area, its worth stopping by Charlies bbq and burgers for a bite. But I wouldnt go out of my way to visit again. There are better BBQ joints and burger spots out there.
