image We bring our dog Margie here when both of us have to work longer days. The staff are very friendly and seem to love dogs.
The dogs get a good amount of time outside and a treat in the middle of the day. I feel good knowing Margie is in good hands when I am at work.
In the summer reservations are a good idea, they may not have room for your dog otherwise.

image Completely irresponsible. My 6 month old yellow lab stayed at Crestview Kennel from Friday morning to Monday evening. We picked him up about 30 minutes ago and he has what the facility calls "crate nose". My dog has an open wound above his nose caused from rubbing against the crate. I understand how this happened. What I don't understand is why I didn't not get a call to notify me that my dog got this injury. The woman I just spoke to told me that she noticed it yesterday and it "wasn't that bad and must have gotten much worse between yesterday and this evening but she did not see it." I indicated that when the injury was first recognized, I should have gotten a call as the dogs owner so I could make the decision to pick him up early as continuing to put him in the crate would make this worse (common sense). The woman told me...exact quote... "no need to be hysterical." (I was was calm this entire call...) The woman also told me "We never call any owner when this happens, it is very common." I let them know that I called the vet as a precaution and was advised to bring my dog in for a visit as it is an open wound and now is at risk for an infection. The woman from the kennel told me "If you want to be crazy then go to Woburn and pay $300 for a visit. You don't need to have him seen, just put Neosporin on it. He's not ask risk for an infection" I am choosing to listen to my vet rather than the kennel owner. The owner also told me I would be embarrassed if I saw how well they took care of these dogs. Lastly, I asked for a refund to at least help me cover the vet visit costs that I am now going to be responsible for and the woman said, "you are not getting a refund" then HUNG UP ON ME. I hope this review helps you make the decision to not use this kennel for your dog. I see that plenty of people have had luck with this facility but if there is even a sliver of a chance you have an experience like mine, I hope this helps. At the very moment this woman noticed my dogs injury just started, this could have all been avoided if she had called me. (She told me it was a snow storm so she didn't call...but first told me she didn't call because she never calls for this.) I would have removed my dog from the kennel immediately to avoid further injury and all would be fine. This was 100% avoidable. Please be careful choosing a kennel, I wish I was more careful!

image Our experience with CrestView with Larry and Nancy was quiet different than we expected. We called a month or so in advance to schedule a weekend stay for our dog, however they had no record of our stay and were very aggressive at first that it was on us but eventually did get us scheduled.
We brought all our paperwork and our dog for drop off and were very surprised by the setup as it was much different than we expected. The photos make it hard to tell but overall it seemed ok due to so many great reviews.
Upon pickup unfortunately our experience met its worst. We were asked to not come back because the owner feels that our lab mix is a pure bred pit bull. Which as a business owner it is your right to protect your assets and insurance is a problem with pit bulls. Our dog had no issues what so ever and played nicely according to the owner. I am unsure I trust that they took the best care of our dog given the way they communicated the issue to us. the way in which the owner communicated to us her problem was close to public shaming leaving my fiancé in tears.
It is very unfortunate that this happened and I feel that the owners should meet with potential clients to avoid this very upsetting experience. We have owned our dog for 4 years and not once had this kind of thing happen.
I respect the owners request for our dog not to return but I am not sure I would feel comfortable doing so even if we could have worked something out. Discrimination and rude behavior are poor ways to make business.
