I had an incredible experience with Techlab Photo and I look forward to working with them again.  The owner, Dan, was a pleasure to work with and the end product was better than expected.  I had two large boxes of photos scanned that I had put off for over a dozen years and Dan took the work out of it and did a much better job than I could have done on my own.  To say it was money well spent was an understatement.  I also took comfort knowing this was a local company and not a large internet business, not knowing where my photos were going. Things to note: 1. Due to COVID concerns as well as inconsistencies with the postal service, Dan offered to meet me at a location closer to my home.  This was a huge peace of mind because I did not want 40 years of family photos lost in the mail. 2. The turnaround was very quick.  While this can understandably depend on his project volume, Dan made it a point to get by photos back to me as soon as he could. 3. The quality was incredible for old 4x6 35 mm prints.  I opted for the 600ppi resolution scans and am glad I did.  There was a small surcharge over the 300ppi, but definitely well worth it. 4. Dan does his best to scan in order and it shows.  None of the photos had scanning, border, or cropping issues. 5. One thing I'd like to note is that Dan tries to ensure all photos are scanned in the correct format (portrait vs landscape). I did not know this was the case beforehand and was thrilled I didn't need to go through and adjust all of my photos. 6. Dan likes dogs and I generally think dog owners are awesome. Like I said, it was a phenomenal experience and I plan to use Techlab Photo again.

Dan was excellent! Very responsive and got the pictures and VHS tapes converted in just a few days. The picture quality is excellent. Still haven’t had a chance to look at the dvds but overall well worth the money!

Over the past few months I have worked with Dan to digitize hundreds of CDs, DVDs, VHSs, Cassettes, etc. for my boss and his family. Dan was so easy to work with! He was quick to respond to emails and texts, was super flexible in setting up meeting times, got the work done so quickly, and did a fantastic job! I would highly recommend!

I had dozens of old camcorder tapes that were collecting dust. Techlab converted them all to digital files and burned them to DVDs. They worked quickly and returned everything to me. Very happy with the quality of the work and the service.
