Best Western Plus Hill House

We had a great stay here at Best Western! Not only was the room spacious and clean, they were extremely professional and honest when we left something in the room after check out. We cant thank them enough! Thank you for a great stay! E & D

I'm easy to please with rooms. Clean, doesn't smell. K-cups, soap, lotion, microwave, hair dryer, refrigerator. Soft bed. Strong a/c (hardly used because I run cold). Front desk woman is very friendly, she called me around 6 to make sure I was still coming (I was an hour out). The pool is currently closed due to some maintenance that needs to be completed, but I wouldn't have been able to use it anyway, probably. Very convenient location for going to a concert at Mechanics Bank Arena. Breakfast is NOT included. I thought it was and was a little disappointed when I saw the sign in the lobby. It's $10 per person; I did not get breakfast.

The front desk staff was very helpful with my check in but thats where the accolades end. This was my worst best western experience ever. I have been a best western rewards (platinum member and just a few stays away from diamond status) for over twenty years. Consequently, I have had lots of experience with what should be expected at a property. This place failed on all counts. The carpet and bathroom floors havent been cleaned in years. I woke up in the middle of the night use the bathroom. No I did not put my shoes on, but I probably should have, because the bottom of my feet were black with dirt. Best Western has always touted free wi fi, a bottle of water for each guest and complimentary breakfast. I got the wi fi but no water or complimentary breakfast. I just got an excuse that we dont have any water and breakfast is going to cost $11 per person. Tell me about another property that runs out of water during the height of tourist season. You knew I was coming because I pre registered the day before. You could gave taken the water from one of the vending machines. And the breakfast debacle. In twenty years I have never been denied some sort of complimentary breakfast. I stayed at some properties during Covid and they gave me a box breakfast to go. Ive stopped at other properties that didnt have a kitchen on site and they gave me a voucher to cover the cost of breakfast at a nearby restaurant. In any case I was always provided the complimentary breakfast that the BW program touts. Of the 8 BW properties that I used on this trip, this was by far the most expensive and I think you could have made good on the BW promises Next year I will be making the same trip as this year. I was planning to stay in the same 8 properties but I have changed my mind. Ill never stay in your property again! Rooms: The floors are filthy

Stayed 3/26/24 The young lady checking us in was super friendly, recommended near by restaurants. Room was very clean, they had cleaned the carpets on the entire floor so was a little humid. Met the manager the next morning, very friendly and polite gentleman. Asked about our stay and listened/cared about me ss a customer. Highly recommend
