To summarize my experience with Extra Space Storage it has been mixed. While the unit itself is fine, it can get a bit moist/damp at times. Surprisingly, I haven't encountered any rats as others have claimed. However, the real issue lies with the tenants, who are the real rodents. From soliciting drugs to leaving trash strewn about the property or blocking the alleyway for trivial meaningless tasks, they are the epitome of bottom-of-the-barrel clientele.
Regarding the staff, the previous team was passable, but the current manager, Victoria, stands out as exceptional. Unfortunately, She's vastly underpaid and mistreated by Extra Space Storage, seemingly taken advantage of by the company to be frank.
Since November, when I first stored my belongings here, the experience has gradually degraded. Rent increases coupled with deteriorating facilities, like the non-functional gate for weeks, have made it increasingly frustrating. The icing on the cake was damaging my vehicle on a spike left behind by another wonderful human being of a tenant, with the insurance I'm paying for proving useless in reimbursement. It's a shame that what started as a pleasant experience has devolved into such disappointment.

Absolutely horrible experience!
They gave us the wrong key for our storage unit so when we couldn't get in they said they'd replace the lock and gave us a key for the new lock. Upon returning the new key was still not working! We still have not been able to get into the storage and have wasted the entire day needing to get in due to an urgent matter. Will not be using this space again in the future and will prevent our friends from it as well.
