Horrible and rude management team. Car got broken into twice in the garage with no response from management. Very happy for my lease to end because it doesn't feel like a safe place to live anymore.
There are many cheaper apartment complexes that are cheaper, have more amenities, closer to downtown, and safer.

Be warned if you are looking to move here. Your packages will be stolen because of the Fetch system that is used. Again and again. And maybe your car. Or it will be broken into. And management will not do a single thing. Despite many tenants asking for better security, the door fob entry system is broken most of the time, and there is a stairwell with no secure fob entry. So, people come and go and steal your packages and cars. We will not be renewing our lease again, as the thefts have become more frequent and management clearly doesn't care.
The only reason there are two stars is because of the maintenance team. They are excellent and actually care about the residents. I have always had a positive experience with them and they work hard. I hope the high rent I pay here goes towards paying them well because they're the most valuable part of the team here.

Stolen Vehciles and Theft Issues
I have been a 5th street commons resident for less than two years. Since I have lived in this complex, three vehciles have been stolen from the complex parking garage-including my own car. I have reached out to the regional manager, Greystars office in Austin, and to Greystars corporate office to explain my concerns and have not been able to get in contact with anyone. I feel that management has handled this situation extremely poorly and does not prioritize the safety and concerns of their residents.
Each door/entrance to the building requires a key fob to get inside. However, non-residents are still able to successfully enter the building and constantly steal packages and even worse, resident cars. I truly feel that safety/theft issues here will only continue increase due to the lack of action taken by management.
Greystar/5th Street Commons management have failed to implement any changes to security and surveillance with the increase of crime in the building. I no longer feel that this apartment is home nor safe and am looking forward to my lease ending so I can feel a sense of safety in my living space.
