Stephen's amazing negotiation ability saved me. I am beyond grateful for having found his law office. He and his staff were exceptional in all area's from responsiveness to expertise and his pricing was fair and reasonable. We were recommended to use Stephen Johnson (by another professional affiliated with him) for our complicated bankruptcy and when making an appointment at his office, he pretended to take our case but rather sold us to another attorney, Luke Garcia, under the guise that it was with Johnson's office.  Looking back, It is comparable to a scam.  He acts like he's representing you, but then takes a cut from an attorney who didn't do anything but take our money.  We had no successful bankruptcy as the case was dismissed due to all of Luke's missed deadlines, last minute notifications given to us by him; we originally thought Luke was an attorney in the Stephen Johnson firm but come to find out, he was unaffiliated and with his own office in Citrus Heights, not in Auburn.  When we needed to make in person appointments, Luke no longer would meet us in Auburn at Stephen Johnson's Office, but would force us to travel to his office in Citrus Heights, a two hour round trip for us. He was impossible to get in touch with; we would leave messages and wouldn't hear back from him until days later.  Stephen may have been a great attorney in the past but he is obviously looking at retirement in a shady way.

I found myself in deep financial trouble and I was starting to lose ground fast. I never thought about filing a bankruptcy as an option so I went to consult with the law offices of Stephen Johnson, Sierra Bankruptcy. I did not realize that they were so many other options to filing bankruptcy. They explained everything so I could make the best choice. They did not pressure me but encouraged me to think about the pros and cons of each option so I could make the best decision. I ended up filing Chapter 7 because it was the best option by far with the shortest credit recovery time. It was also very affordable as they were willing to work with me on a payment plan. The staff was great and they help me every step of the way. The whole process was painless. Ron
