The warmth, friendliness, wonderful breakfasts, great rooms and gardens and close location to everything was more than we expected. We were very pleased. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends. Thank you to Angela whos gracious, creative spirit made the experience complete.

WOW! Ive never had an experience like this. Angela is truly incredible. A genuine host, made herself available via text and was super friendly and welcoming. I stayed for a wedding and Angela loaned me some safety pins for my dress. So thoughtful! And the breakfast! The best vegan food we had in Ashland and one of the best vegan breakfasts ever. The room was awesome, the decor was sweet - the outdoor space perfect. So many thoughtful touches. We wanted to move in!
Walkability: Super easy to walk downtown for shops and restaurants and easy walk to the grocery store - perfect location!

For someone with my disability (walking is hard), its too far too far to walk to Ashlands Shakespeare and such. But since we are in the car to do exploring there is really no difference. In some ways its good to be away from the center of things. Everything is quiet and slow, and you come to appreciate that. Service was promised and delivered. The food was imaginative and delicious. The B + B is beautifully decorated. There are lots of things suggested to do in the Ashland/Medford area. But if we just wanted to relax and read, its a nice place to stay.

The Chanticleer Inn is the BEST inn my husband and I have ever stayed at. It is beautifully decorated with lovely landscaping. We enjoyed sitting out in the garden and relaxing. It is a close walk to Ashland's restaurants, shops, and Shakespeare theaters. The delicious breakfasts are lovingly prepared by Angela. She was gracious in providing a gluten free option for my husband. We appreciated the pumpkin pecan cookies and tea that were available 24/7 in the breakfast room. Angela anticipates guests'needs and takes pride in providing an exceptional experience.
