    Update 3/20/24: They still haven't informed the residents about the incident and said they don't plan to. It's been over a month. Marvin laughed and hung up the phone - Marvin, the Resident Coordinator's boss. Update 3/12/24 - I had to call 911 when a homeless person was trying to set fire to a heater in the stairwell. No one, not even the police could get ahold of community management or anyone else. Over a month later after multiple emails to Avalon Bay staff, they told me that: "We were able to respond to what the residents observed and the on-site team quickly called the fire marshal and police who were able to provide the footage to the police. The police were able to locate and apprehend the suspect. We do take security very seriously which is why the on-site team worked quickly with residents and police to address the issue." They just lie, lie, lie Thats the Resident Coordinator... My community manager asked me what he should do... and that it's not his "Responsibility" to ensure packages are not left in the clear path of a fire exit...and that he can "only ensure boxes are not impeding the way when he or staff is there"... completely neglecting that it's his responsibility (as the community manager) to come up with a system and instructions to ensure the safety of its residents. His failure to see safety implications and the "matter-of-fact" tone was highly disappointing. This is not about me; this is about the safety of my neighbors, who have all voiced complaints about the safety implications of the packages blocking a fire escape. also tried to submit a notice via the "Contact Us" legit you cant contact them. The page breaks every time... Laughable..

    As other customers have warned, it is strongly advised to stay away from this company's properties. We had the unfortunate experience of living in Avalon at Arlington Square in Arlington, VA. The office staff is severely underqualified for their positions in management. They fail to respond to emails or phone calls, and even when approached in person for assistance, their staff lacks the knowledge to answer basic questions or the manager is always conveniently unavailable due to meetings. We are currently pursuing legal action against them for the emotional damage caused by the prolonged neighbor harassment, which the office staff irresponsibly ignored. The harm has already been done, and our children have been affected as well. The only way to protect yourself from this company is to refuse to sign any contracts until you have a written and signed agreement that aligns with the information they provided during the moving-in process. They consistently provide conflicting information when speaking to them directly, and when asked for written proof, they redirect you to various unresponsive offices or individuals. Their tactics are nothing short of a scam, especially if you are not familiar with their deceptive methods of trapping you into their agreement.Im

    The garage at Moasic has been broken for over five months. The leasing office continues to send out bogus emails saying that it will be fixed but it never happens. This has lead to many cars being stolen from the garage along with my car being broken into and the dashboard being ripped out causing 5300 dollars of damage. I spoke to the leasing office in person and they couldn't care less. NO ONE IN MOASIC AVALON SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR PARKING UNTIL THE DOOR IS FIXED AND SHOULD BE REIMBURSED FOR THE LAST 5 MONTHS WORTH OF PARKING. The negligence of this place is sky high and unfortunately without any consequences for them. They know people are having their cars stolen and broken into and yet they do nothing about it. The garage needs to be fixed immediately to stop these low lifes with no job stealing and damaging the vehicles of hard working people.
