I went in last night bc of severe back pain that went around my left side near my heart. The nurses were rude and have no care for other humans. Terrible hospital. They even said I lied.

My wife was brought to RMC via ambulance when her breathing became so difficult she passed out..the ER was I would have to say VERY full and VERY chaotic..it was determined early on she would be admitted but there were no beds available to send her to right away...we ended up spending almost 36 hours in the ER before a room was available...during those 36 hrs the ER was loud with several patients getting verbally abusive to the staff..I have to say the whole time the staff treated us with respect and as much professionalism as possible...they made sure she got the many medications she required and did thier best to see she was comfortable even with the chaos going on..we did not have to spend the many hours in the waiting room like most of the people there so I can understand the the frustrations .. from what I have been told the main issue is hospital staffing problems and not so much a lack of rooms..I appreciate the ER staff and the work they do..I hope the hospital takes care of any staffing issues soon to take pressure off all involved
