We have boarded our cat at Karnik several times. He seems happy and comfortable there. It's nice that he gets time out of his own little space to run around in a safe area and explore. There is plenty of stimulation so he doesn't get bored. It has always seemed that he has been well cared for.

Update (Fall/Winter 2023): If you must facility jump for whatever reason, you need to wait at least 10 days (this was related to their travel advisory emails, but may be different now idk). Karnik should have sent out clear rules about what they require if any, not just suggestions/ advice through email to their existing customers. Also, please do not have any staff member ask customers, out of the blue, how their dog liked another daycare, when they found out not through the customer but through their own (Karnik's) efforts. If this has been rectified, then thank you. I'm sure there was no ill intent behind it, but it is an invasion of privacy and unprofessional. Set stringent rules instead and effectively communicate them.
At the end of the day, you can only hope people do the right thing and what's best for others, but there is always a risk regardless.

I love that they have outside play areas for the dogs The dogs do seem to be outside more than inside, which I think helps lower the chances of your dog(s) coming home smelling like pee. Like many others, I wish there was a camera outside. My dog is always eager to go here and comes home tired. One downside is how many times she's gotten kennel cough which we think most likely originated from here. My interactions with Jess have been nothing but positive.

I have loved sending my pup to Karnik! The staff has been wonderful to work with. My dog has found a way to jump over the fences but they have been so kind in continuing to work with her and I to ensure she can continue with daycare.

Would not recommend. Camp Bow Wow in Brighton is much better.
