image They took the time to look up my computer model and give me a quote on the phone. Computer Medic was the best priced repair for my cracked laptop screen.

image HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Would give ZERO stars if possible. The older guy with long hair either was in a bad mood or is always just that condescending and demoralizing I suppose it was initial shock that an employee could be that disrespectful right out the gate to a customer. Even 10 seconds into the door, I had a bad feeling about it due to the look he gave me for simply entering. Made me feel like an inconvenience for just asking for service.
Overall: Did not have services done at this business because the personnel does not know how to be courteous or respectful to potential customers and did a better job of driving a customer away than earning any business.
1. When explaining why I was there, he cut me off and told me it's useless information.
2. When I asked to see what he wrote as the diagnosis of the problem on paper, since mine was so pointless, he slapped the invoice paper in front of me without saying anything else but, "sign there", again insulting me, my intelligence this time, for expecting me to sign something without reading it just because someone's being rude and pushy about it.
3. No please, no explanation, no response to my question. I then stated, "I don't see what you're planning to do on here anywhere, or what you wrote as the symptoms", at which point he poked 4 times towards some fine print at the top, likely a 6pt font, that was actually typed into a solid black line so some of the text wasn't even legible.
4. He says, "I'm assuming standard service?" I said, "I'd prefer priority, please." and he SIGHS at such an inconvenience and says, "Ok, well we charge a minimum of half hour..." (at $85 for "Priority" service, which wasn't clear on their little post it note what that means). And so I said, "understood, I'm fine with that".
5. I ask, "Ok so with priority service, will it be done in a day or so?" he sighs again and says, "it will be STARTED in 24-48 hours. I can't tell ya how long it'll be, I don't know what you're telling me and won't know a thing until I open it up." Yes, that's typically the process to diagnose hardware. Thanks for that precious gem of knowledge I otherwise wouldn't have figured out with my feeble little lady brain.
In summary: If you are not opposed to conducting business with others who lack common courtesy and basic people skills, this is the place to go.
Personally, I picked my rig up, and left, saying, "actually, just forget it all." At which point he gave me the stink eye and shook his head. He was so condescending and rude, Not sure if this dude hated me in a past life or something, but he clearly wasn't happy to be interacting with me at all.
It seems like that business would do a LOT better if they had people who can actually handle interacting with others on a basic level at the front counter. He could have the best computer skills in all the world, but his piss poor attitude - as a representative of his company - ruined that first impression of Computer Medics.
