EEOC has stated that rules requiring employees to speak only English in the workplace violate the law unless the employer can show that they are justified by business necessity. If you cant do this to your employees, how would you be able to do this to paying customers? What business necessity do you have where everyone else needs to know and hear some one elses sandwich order?
As you said - we would appreciate if you dont speak Hindi ....I would appreciate if you put a sign on your window saying - we discriminate and offend if you speak - and list all languages that you dont like to hear. Maybe you want to take a look around and see that people are protesting against discrimination.
