Rude office staff. When you call to inquire they talk to you like a child and then hang up on you. Go on...call and try it for yourself.

Its a long review, but worth the read before signing a lease!! :) Overall rating: 3/10 Would not recommend. Im 26, lived at Normandy Hill for 2 years. The first year with a roommate and the second year on my own. Pros: - I felt very safe here! Pre- and Post- Quarantine. A lot of families, nice neighborhood area, and quiet. There is a police station AND a fire station right next door. - My apt faced away from the parking lot, providing a lot of privacy! Price is lower than most of the DMV, $1260/m for a spacious 1 bed/1 bath and 1 free parking space (even with two names on the lease**) - Gas Stove - The door has a mail slot (see pictures) - Note: It is loud and terrifying when youre caught off guard. (See pictures) - I received my full deposit back - Great location! Down the street, there are lots of little shops + food. Some specifics: CVS, UPS, Dunkin, Mcdonalds, Panera, Midas, a kids swimming lessons place, Guitar World, Halal Guys, a liquor store, a smoke shop, etc. Cons: - Normandy Hill is not metro accessible! There is a bus stop though. - BUGS, rats/mice, lizards, and snakes! Its was a relentless problem, no matter the fumigations, repellants, and sticky traps. They come from under the doors, between the windows, between the walls, through the cabinets, behind the oven and fridge, and in the closet with the heat/air unit. I keep my home very clean because I have a phobia of (primarily) spiders and this was (in my opinion) the absolute worst part of living here). (See pictures) - MOLD. The heat/air unit in the apt above me leaked water through my hallway ceiling and partially flooded my apt. Plus the actual unit * nearly fell through* my ceiling. It took a few weeks for them to fix it via a patch job and after 2 months (ish) they replaced the wood flooring in only that section (a different color than the rest of the panels, so parts of the floor didnt match). They didnt let the under area dry and so when they replaced the flooring (and not even all of the damaged ones were replaced), it obviously molded. (See pictures) - LEAKING GAS was a recurring issue. Despite numerous complaints and maintenance coming in and noticing the smell themselves, nothing was ever done (they dont have Carbon Monoxide detectors). When I moved, my allergies got better AND my cats breathing problem went away completely. (A cat that I got just before I moved out, with approval. Pets are not allowed!) - The fake wood flooring gives you Splinters, shoes in the apt is a MUST. - The building is only two stories, people keep to themselves (if you do), but the walls are paper-thin if not carpeted appropriately. - The apts are old, so they have the usual old place issues like some plugs dont work, windows dont open, blinds are all broken, parts of the floor broke off, and when I moved in the air conditioner was broken (which was a nightmare, but they DID fully replace).
