GBC Kitchen and Bath

After receiving 4 bids for our kitchen remodel, we selected GBC Kitchen and Bath for our project. They were not the least - nor most - expensive but they seemed the most flexible in working with us to develop a plan. We also felt that their estimate was reasonable and that the figures provided were honest estimates, while others offered low-ball offers to try and win the bid. Once we were under way, our project manager, Sal, was on site almost everyday making sure that the remodel was going smoothly. We had several challenges along the way but Sal was always available and responsive in addressing our concerns. In addition to the kitchen, we had hardwood floors installed throughout the first floor of our home. The entire project took about two months and was only slightly overbudget. We are very happy with all of the work done by GBC and all items passed county inspection. While home renovation projects are never fun, our new kitchen was worth the stress and anxiety of the past two months. We were extremely fortunate to have Sal and his positive and easygoing personality to keep us calm!

GBC Kitchen and Bath remodeled my kitchen a couple of weeks ago, only thing I can say is WOW. The design and construction was completed seamlesly. It has been a great transformation of this 60+ home, which of course fought giving us a few complications, but nothing that the team couldnt handle. The design proposed by Ray was spot on, their window and door contractor (Max) transformed the kitchen by replacing the patio door and windows bringing so much light into the room. The construction team, Alex and Jacob, led by the Project Manager, Guven, brought the design to life. Their professionalism and pride in their workmanship truly was a key element to the success of the project. I am extremely happy with the results of this project, the functionality of my new kitchen is amazing , a place for everything

Im absolutely delighted by the bathrooms renovation job performed by GBC Kitchen and Bathroom of Alexandria, VA. I hired GBC to renovate and upgrade all my two bathrooms and the powder room. From start to finish, the GBC team listened to my requests, guided me with the process from envisioning design, selecting the materials, delivering the materials to specifications, and performing the renovation jobs. Ms. Eda Yeniay proposed a few design concepts and materials. As someone who was aesthetically challenged, she helped me with choosing the design and color coordination that would stand the test of time. More importantly, she selected high quality materials consistent with the vision. Mr. Charlie Ozdemir was an experienced project manager who ensured that the process would be executed smoothly, on time, and on budget. He excelled in those areas as well as he listened very carefully to and answered all of my questions. I also could not be happier by the skilled craftsmen led by Mr. Ever who executed all the designs and concepts leading to desirable outcomes. Throughout the process, GBC always came up with solutions to possible issues. I really did not have to worry about having the contractor mess up the job. I have now fully renovated, updated, aesthetically pleasing, and modern bathrooms suitable for 21st century. I will entrust GBC again with my kitchen project in the future. Thank you, GBC!! Six years later... When the time comes for kitchen remodeling, I did not hesitate to choose GBC as my design and build contractor in 2024. Back in 2007, I hired GBC to upgrade my kitchen countertop. The company provided advice, supplied, and installed a new quartz countertop, which significantly improved the aesthetics and functions of my kitchen. Impressed by my experience, I hired GBC again to remodel my bathrooms in 2018. As expected, GBC designed, built, and delivered a timeless-and beautiful looking bathrooms that I have used daily like a mini spa (see my review above). For my kitchen, I collaborated with Yaprak who designed and measured the layout and advised me on the aesthetics. She exercised her professional judgment to steer me away from ideas that may not work well given the size and architecture of the house (having an island was out of the question), and provided ideas that added functionality to the space (thank you for the lazy susans, trash cabinet, and pull out drawers.) Best of all, she provided expert opinions on color and material schemes that will work for my kitchens aesthetics. My project manager, Mr. Guven, directed, executed the plan, and supervised the work crew to build the designs vision on daily basis. He always provided sound advice and strived that the project would be completed in timely manner, on budget, and met all of the building codes. He came to my house nearly everyday to check on progress, quality of the work, and communicated daily updates. In addition, Guven always responded to all of my inquiries thoughtfully, quickly, and in professional manner. In all these aspects, Guven succeeded brilliantly. Special kudos to the work crew who built, constructed, and transformed my kitchen into reality. Mr. Ever and his crew were true craftsmen and talented plumbers, electricians, painters, and tilers. They were true artisans who worked very hard and diligently during the construction as they took pride in their work and craftmanship, resulting in beautiful and transformed living kitchen space. Treat them well with respect, and they will take care of you. I would not hesitate to recommend GBC as your one stop kitchen and bath shopping. They will listen to all of your needs, material specifications, and aesthetics choice, and they will design and build your vision into reality. Best of all, the company does not sell anything that you don't need, and Im happy with their competitive pricing.You can see the results and quality of their craftsmanship as shown by pictures of my new kitchen! Thats why Ive been a repeat customer since 2007.
