This has been the 2nd time in the last few months that I have had the battery replaced on some high end vintage quartz watches with these EXCELLENT people. Friendly, informative and with their own watchmaker on premises to take care of my things. They also buy spot bullion and silver with the price they pay (daily) right there in the open for all to see. I will be bringing some scrap sterling and dimes to them soon.

Always count your money when you walk out of there! I am an academic, not a shark. I walked out of Castle Coin with $20 less than I should have because I let the cashier count my money. Don't do that! Always count your money if you are selling! Talk a breath!
I walked in with $291 cash + $52 from sale = $243
- $115 for platinum coin
= $228
Yet, I left with $208, $20 less than I should have. Be wary of sharks!

Excellent customer service, But the notion that you will get the best price in town for your gold is a HUGE LIE. In part because I think they have more acids do more test and are very picky. I took my ring to to 3 dealers 2 said 18k but castle said it was a little above 14k and would only give me money for 14k where as the store next to or by the McDonald's San Pedro quoted me a 100.00 more so did the on next flying star On menual so did the other. Their response was that they are a mom pop store and can't compete with other big chains . Look for the white brick store that's across McDonald's they gave me the best. Like I said nothing against them but their I just more picky about their. Go any where but them for the best price it's the difference of 100.00 dollars . My advice stay away from mom pop gold and sliver exchange go to a place that trades nationally. Truly delightful people through
