We recently added Hunter Douglas blinds to our home which has several nearly floor to ceiling windows in the living room. Our gas bill through the roof. Diane helped us with the selection and we were very pleased with the choices offered to us. The pricing was also very reasonable as compared with one other company. It was a delight having her and Bob come to install the blinds and we couldn't be more pleased with her kind manner and thorough professionalism. She made our home warm in more ways than one.

Highly recommend Alameda Shade Shop. Diane is amazing. She's so helpful and the entire shop is so hard working. I can't say enough about the beautiful work they did for us. We wanted a lot of color and it was so fun to pick out our window treatments. If you need window treatments they are pros!

Diane was nice and gave some advice that was helpful but overall was disappointed after installation. We chose the battery powered blinds to avoid having wires and were told there would be no visible wires with this option. On installation, the battery packs were actually not able to be placed behind the head rail of the blinds and so both the battery packs and wires are visible on all of our bedroom blinds. Would have chosen a different product if we had had accurate information given to us before ordering/installation so feel a bit deceived by the process and disappointed with Diane and Hunter Douglas.

We used Alameda Shade Shop for the windows in our beautiful queen anne. They were absolutely perfect and the best quality you can only get from hand-made. I never thought I'd love window shades the way I sometimes love shoes (you know what I'm talking about, ladies!)!We eventually sold our place but I just want to share how great these guys are.The pics were taking during the sale and the house is staged (we were never that natty!).
