Rum Cakes Factory

My friend had raved about this spot so we decided to stop by and check it out. The store is small and theres only one or two small tables to sit at but they had a pretty large selection of their rum cakes and other various desserts to choose from. All the cakes looked delectable so it was hard narrowing down which ones to order. The flavor that was their current special was the hummingbird cake so I decided on a slice of that since the lady helping us was saying how delicious it was. I also got a slice of their Italian cream cake. They also had cupcakes of some of their cake flavors so I tried their amaretto, grand marnier, and vanilla strawberry as well as their rum balls. I wasn't a huge fan of their hummingbird cake at all as it was on the drier side and the flavors were underwhelming. The Italian cream cake, however, was phenomenal and I would definitely go back just for this cake as it was moist and the icing was creamy and just perfect! The cupcakes were just okay in my opinion. The amaretto and grand marnier both had very subtle flavors so it didn't have the flavors as I was expecting. The vanilla strawberry just tasted like vanilla with strawberry icing. The rum balls were also just decent and I didn't understand the hype of them.Overall, most of what I tried here was decent at best aside from the Italian cream cake. I'm sure some of their other cake flavors would be good so I may go back to try them out if I'm in the mood for a slice of cake.

I picked up a order for a customer while I was doing DoorDash. I told the cashier that I was picking up a order and can I use the restroom. She told me no.

Too expensive for syrup cake that looks like the 3 leches To wet inside.I didn't like the Taste of the cake. First time and last time.  I could not eat the cake is like eating pancakes with lots of syrup.I wouldn't recommend this place.
