At Trails End Cabins Llc

We are staying at the Flo Mines/Liberty Belle cabin. Been a rough stay so far. One major reason we picked this cabin is because it had wifi. The internet has been down, according the to visitor guestbook in the cabin, for two weeks. Last night the low hit 40 and all we have for heat is a very insufficient 1500 watt space heater. The thermostat said it was 55 degrees inside this morning. Neither the furnace nor heat pump work, and again according to the logbook this has been the case for a week. For some reason the sound of water flow will stop and start about every 30 second to 2 minutes, making it extremely hard to get a good rest. It would be one thing if the owners promptly fixed these issues but thanks to the guestbook in the cabin we know they can't be bothered.

BEWARE OF BED BUGS. my boyfriend woke up this morning to one crawling across his stomach so we checked the rest of the room and found one on the comforter and one more inside his pillowcase. if this wasn't enough to convince you to stay away from this place: the water is continuously BROWN, the hot tub isn't working, and the pool table is NOT level and you get charged hundreds of dollars if you move it. do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere :)

We had a short wait upon arrival which was just the start. Stove needed cleaned off. Bathroom sink too. One full bathroom, not 2. We found that disappointing even when there were only 4 of us. They said they book 15 people at times and not sure how they did it with only 1 shower. Hot tub out of order the first night and we were really were looking forward to using it. We were gifted this trip for an anniversary and especially selected due to being one floor, hot tub, pond in back, and fire pit too. Pictures don't show the steep path leading to the pond, so we weren't able to go down to it and fish at our leisure. Fire wood pile too far away from pit, so never made fire. Not a level frying pan in the kitchen and wine glasses were hidden under the sink, in back, behind chemicals, so didn't use. We left after 2 nights. Lost out on our third night and never heard from the owner. Maintenance crew did their best, but the owner should have followed up. We purposely waited 2 weeks to cool off and write a review. It's a shame, because this place had so much potential. If we would have had better communication with the owner our trip could have improved. We would haven given a better review, recommend this place to others, as well as return here ourselves.

We spent our honeymoon in the cabin. It was the first time staying in a cabin for both of us. We had a blast. It is close to stores and restaurants. It is also close enough to go fishing at the lake. I would recommend this cabin to anybody.
