Excellent TPLO experience for my dog and I here at HRVSS. Dr. Zeltzman was wonderful to work with. He explains everything perfectly so I knew exactly what I needed to know. The process was very easy and would definitely recommend to others. Michelle was also a fantastic nurse as she was very attentive to help with any questions.

Our very active and healthy 11-year-old rescue from Big Fluffy Dog developed advanced arthritis in her left hind leg. Despite medications and laser therapy, she became lame and had to be carried in a sling. Our last hope was a total knee replacement and we chose Dr. Seltzman as her surgeon. Maybelline, our dog, is like a puppy again. She is active and happy and completely weened off her gabapentin medication. Thank you, Dr. Phil. We are eternally grateful for your expert surgical skills and kindness.

My dog Penny had surgery here to remove a mass. The entire staff was wonderful and Dr. Zeltzman did amazing work. It was a cancerous mass unfortunately, but he was able to get all of the cancer. So grateful for Dr. Zeltzman and the entire HRVSS team who took wonderful care of my girl. She is doing great.

Dr. Zeltzman is EXCEPTIONAL! Our dog needed FHO surgery on both hips at 5 months of age. I would proudly give 10 stars if I could! From the first phone call to the final surgery, Harrisburg Regional Veterinary Surgical Specialists were highly educated on this procedure. Dr. Zeltzman has an outstanding team that goes above and beyond to help you and your pet! Again, EXCEPTIONAL in every way!!!

Long story, my 5 mo old puppy got bit by another dog. She ended up with a fractured jaw. When I took her to Shores Animal Hospital they told me she would have to have surgery to repair it. So, I started looking for an orthopedic surgeon that could do the surgery. Every place that I contacted agreed, she needed this surgery, except for Dr. Zeltman. Dr. Zeltman discussed with me a different procedure with just setting her jaw and placing a mussel on her (like a cast) for 4 weeks. He explained that she was young and should heal well as long as we follow the plan. Let me tell you, she is doing AMAZING! Michelle, Kat, Dr. Zeltman and his intire staff are so wonderful. I can't say enough about them. They take time to explain everything, make sure you are comfortable with everything they are going to do, and not only that but they take pride and love on your baby when you are not there with them. The only down fall I have with HRV is that, it is only open to take patients on Monday's. I wish it was more like Shores. I absolutely LOVE the staff here!!
