Hampton Inn Hartford/Airport

Night crew service was terrible. I had ordered food to be left with the reception and when my food arrived I get a message from the dasher telling me the people at front desk told them to leave my food in front of the maintenance room on the floor all the way down the hall?? Not even a minute later I go to the front desk and ask them about the food that just came and they act clueless and tell you I immediately went there. After I tell them and show them the message they suddenly remember and act like everything is normal. I think the girl told me yeah if thats what they told you thats where it is. I had told them I didnt see it and they sent me back by myself down that hall to look for and retrieve my food in front of the maintenance room. How is that normal. Night crew had also made check-in extremely difficult for me, on top of that realizing the room I got was a connecting room and I couldnt change it due to no more rooms being available they said. Thats fine and all, it was my first time traveling solo so I wasnt able to sleep well in that room, not their fault. Night service was terrible. The good about this hotel though is the free morning breakfast, the morning crew, and the shuttle to and from the airport(both employees I dealt with were cool)

Great location and friendly service. Yasmeen and shuttle driver were awesome. Coordinated getting my son from airport in record time late at night. Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was great. Hot tub was enjoyable.
