      Welcome to our new Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown, ideally located for a fun weekend or extended stay in Charlotte. Our all-suite hotel is just a couple blocks from the business district, museums and major sporting venues, including Bank of America Stadium, Spectrum Center, and NASCAR Hall of Fame.       image Inquired about an ID left at front desk. Person who answered phone informed me they hadn't seen one, but that they would speak to manager to make sure. Then I requested to speak with manager to verify. Both her and I were pleasant amd respectful in communication, until she said yes, I'll put you on hold and grab manager, give me one second to grab them. Reason time was so critical is because my team member who left ID needed it, was to to be able to fly home. 20 min. On hold I finally hung up. Hospitality at the simplest form would be to come off hold and communicate to me, expected hold time or to do so at the moment, putting me on hold. Haven't experienced this at any Bonvoy Marriott location, so back to one brand for my team and my travels.

      image I originally booked a large king corner room, upon arriving to the property they did not warn me they were sold out of the room I booked until I submitted payment and got to my room. Apparently, they overbooked the room, and automatically put me into a different King room that I didnt Originally pay for. Room has an odor. No type of compensation was given.
