VaporFi | Vape Shop & Vape Juice Bar

Staff had us waiting for about a half hour with only one other customer in the store. While assisting the other customer, the staff decided to unpack boxes and do other tasks instead of inquiring about our needs. Decided to leave. This could have been handled better. This happened today July 27th around 1030am.

Kate is very awesome, helpful, and knowledgeable about all vaporfi products, helping customers make wise decisions that brings them quality and value on their purchase(s).

Good service but go here for the liquid only. Everything else is a hit or miss. They rotate out their displays so what you buy today may not be available a few months from now. Meaning no replacements. I know because my mod is obsolete/no parts and I purchased it 4 months ago.

I was visiting DC area from upstate New York. I stayed for a couple weeks in different areas. I’ve been vaping for a while. We all have our vape shops near home that we like and of course, while traveling, you need to buy vape stuff. So I google vape stores and found Vaporfi. The first one I visited was the shop in DC. But let’s talk about the Huntington store. I popped in a few times. It’s a good place to hang out for a little bit, they don’t rush you out of the store. They have a bar where they’re happy to let you sit and chat. I met some of the guys that work there and they were all friendly and knowledgeable. The “vapetender” that’s what they say they call themselves, that really impressed me is Kate. Kate is enthusiastic about the technology behind vaping, and not just that she’s a genius mixologist for the custom blend e-juice. Custom made e-juice is usually much better than pre-mixed flavors, but she is able to balance flavors amazingly well. Better than any one else who has mixed my custom e-juice. She makes sure each customer is happy, and I can tell my happiness and other vapor guests is important to her. Sometimes it gets busy in there, and the atmosphere is a bit like bartending or food service meets retail, so it’s almost like handling two different job responsibilities at once. To custom blend a juice, the employees often put a dab of juice or juices on a swatch so you can get a rough idea of how the juice will smell once it’s blended. Sometimes, I admit, I’m picky and can take a half hour to smell a dozen different blends before I choose which one I want. By the way, if you’re a customer that’s had to wait while I’m making up my mind about what juice blend I want… I’m sorry… actually #sorrynotsorry I got there first. I’m a paying customer and I got the juice blend I’m happy with.
