Twin City Tire and Auto Service

I got a quote online from them for new tires and ultimately went with them because Discount Tires never called me back after I went there in person. The guy behind the counter didn't seem to want to put an ounce of effort into honoring a price match against Discount Tire. He wanted me to go get a quote to bring back to show them. All he has to do is go to their website. Anyway, custom order size, they got them in 2 days, not bad. They put them on and then hit me up for an alignment after checking it. I said no, they convinced me to get it done. When it's all done and ready, they just tell me a total. They don't show me an invoice or anything. I ask to see what I'm paying for, they show me the invoice and the tires don't have the price match on them. They correct that and run the credit card. They put everything into a folder for me and I didn't think to actually look it over in detail. I get home, and look at the paperwork. It turns out they charged me $20 for Nitrogen. We never talked about filling my tires with Nitrogen yet they took the liberty of charging me for it. When I brought it back to get a refund, the guy behind the counter just looked at me like I was annoying him. He gave me the refund, but I never once felt like they cared about my business. I wouldn't recommend this place and won't ever go back.

PLEASE AVOID TWIN CITY TIRE!!! I just went to Twin City Tire in Eden Prairie for a oil change. I had a coupon and was told that my vehicle needed extra oil and a special filter. Thus, I ended up paying more than if I had gone somewhere else without a coupon. Upon completion of the oil change, I was informed that my water pump had a leak and it would cost ~$900 to repair. I promptly brought my vehicle to the Walser dealership and was told that the water pump was fine. In fact, Walser could find no evidence of any leakage. I will never return to Twin City Tire...service was poor, slow, and possibly fraudulent

Guys know exactly what's going on with the car. Technical and well experienced. My second visit and I can already say they are trust worthy. NOT straight out of college - like some other places. So far I can say I found myself a shop that I can trust.
