Methodist Medical Group - Primary Care

First time patient and I must say, this is my new care house. The professionalism and patient engagement is outstanding. The wait was nonexistent and thats new to me. Ill recommend this place to anyone needing a primary care doctor.

This was my first time here after being a patient at the place across the street for about two years. The entire crew was great. One of the ladies at the desk turned out to be from my home town. Colby, Alaina and Dr. Tesfau were all professional, personable and great to deal with. This is my new primary care from now on.

I wanted to leave this review after years because it was very interesting to experince. From about 2013- 2015 my mother cleaned the building. I remember Dr. Patterson being a bit rude to her and requesting some areas be cleaned better. No problem but not to mention my mother was a teacher who had been teaching for over 10-15 years at the time. She worked late after teaching to provide a decent life for me! All I am going to say is the other doctors paid a bit more attention to who was cleaning the building..... Your father having been a pastor you shouldn't pass judgement. But congrats to us all I am a college graduate and she is now a business owner. Best wishes!

Dr. Simon Tesfau is a fat shamer. I came in as a new patient, looking a doctor who can help me understand my excess weight gain and lose the fifty pounds of excess weight that is not coming off despite having a healthy diet. He never once asked me about my diet or even to make a food diary for him. He sent me to labs which took my blood despite having not fasted. All they did was ask when I ate last and I gave my best guess. A week later I get a call from an assistant or receptionist saying that my cholesterol is high and Dr Tesfau says to reduce my calories. Rather than look for the reason why it would have shown high cholesterol in a person who doesnt have a history of high cholesterol. Although, the real reason is doing labs on someone who hasnt fasted. Nor did he order other tests to dig deeper into discovering the weight gain source. Dr. Tesfau was deceivingly nice when I had spoken to him in person. I was very hopeful that I had finally found a professional and knowledgeable doctor. But the way he went about everything else shows his incompetence. Needless to say, I will not be going back to this practice. If I could give no stars, that would be more appropriate.
