Our experiences at the ER was really awful! I didnt want to give any stars- but had to just to do my review. However the staff in the ER department including the security department was dismissive and unprofessional. I brought my daughter there to be seen and it was a waste of time. They didnt offer my daughter no pain meds, warm blanket etc. But set in that cold room for hours! The Physician Assistant was very unprofessional along with some of the other staff. They walked in the room without announcing themselves and leaving the door open each time. Im listening to other patients personal situations. Im quite sure theyve heard the PA talking loudly about my daughter as well. It was like working a shift there without no pay for hours we were there for. The services arent pleasant or welcoming there. Listening to them loudly laughing and talking about their personal lifes while they have patients to see. If we didnt put the call light on we wouldve been there a lot longer. They didnt keep us updated about anything. We didnt know lab work was order. We were there for 7 hours and they still couldnt figure out what was going on with my daughter. I had to ask for pain meds. Some of the staff came in the room with attitudes! The pain that my daughter was experiencing was the same pain she left in. Then going to tell us if the pain gets worse come back! I said we will not be returning! I rather make an appointment to see my personal doctor. The Lab lady that seen my daughter was Awesome! Upon exiting I had to knock three times on the window for security to let us out! They were having a good time back there. So unprofessional! I had to take my daughter to another ER and I can say the services was professional and they attended to my daughter needs right away!

My mom had her hip replaced at this hospital in November. DO NOT leave your loved one here without an advocate. I have had family at multiple hospitals around the area. This is by far the worst hospital I have ever been associated with! Nurses do not come when the call button is pushed, even when the person is on a bed alarm. It is hard to get pain meds and it seems as though they just aren't enough nurses around to meet the needs of the patient. My mom did have excellent PT and OT at this location, so I want to make sure that is noted. Don't bother commenting with your canned response about how you care and want me to contact you, Corewell Health!

Staff was exceptional on the Thursday evening we came in. Found issues my PHP totally missed. Trust me she gets her own rewiew...was Ill for over a month never wanted to do further test or provide details on the kidneys. ER doctors found liver and lung issues. A biopsy was performed the next morning
