This isn't for the care of patients . Mom is getting great care. It's for the parking situation. For being a medical facility and only having 6 handicap parking spots that is ridiculous. There should be more for your patients that needs them. All those parking spaces in front some could be made into handicap parking. Thank god I am bringing my mom for her treatments or she would have to park a distance away from the door. It's pathetic.

If I could give zero stars I really would. The Doctors and staff need to slow down and make sure the patient is getting the best care possible. They chose you and this hospital for a reason.
Communication needs to be more clear with the patient and family & services and follow ups for speech, and other departments need to be set up better for the patient too.

I was diagnosed with 2 types of breast cancer. I had cancer in both both breast with one lymph node involvement. I was a stage 2. I had a double mastectomy with both surgeons doing my surgery. My double mastectomy was a botched job. The excess skin has made this last year miserable. After surgery the surgeon said I needed chemotherapy. The oncologist and radiologist disagreed. The oncologist also told me the surgeon had no business saying that too me. I went for a second opinion. Everyone at the KU hospital I see are shocked at my double mastectomy they go get other doctors to see the amount of breast tissue left. They say my right breast would be considered a lumpectomy at most. I had the ACT 12 rounds of chemotherapy. I had to have more radiation due too the amount of tissue left. Now I have to have this excess tissue removed. Thanks for taking a scary emotional time and major event in someones life and making them look deformed with how the surgery has looked. I also believe I would of died by not doing everything I needed done. Really think before coming to this cancer center. Get second opinions every lawyer Ive spoken to have said Johnson country doctors are hard to fight. If I lived in any other country or Missouri I would of had a case. Now I never received a sorry and this can continue to happen. Sad. Make sure you get second opinions.

Wife was supposedly cancer-free after a visit in June. 3 months later she was paralyzed by multiple cancerous tumors pressing on her spine. NONE of the oncologists detected the cancer beforehand because THEY DIDN'T DO ANY TESTING after she finished chemotherapy 3 years ago. NO mri, NO CT scan, NO pet scan to see if cancer had returned. IT'S NOT 1920 WHERE THESE TESTS DON'T EXIST!! All of this was preventable if they just did an MRI, PET or CT scan once a year. BUT MD ANDERSON DOES NOT DO IT! NO FOLLOW-UP TESTING, NO ROUTINE TESTING. You're on your own to determine whether you have cancer again or not. And by the time you do find out you're dang near dead. These oncologists are supposed to help people.... not leave them twisting in the wind. Shame on the "doctors" and shame on MD Anderson. And I wish to God I didn't have to watch my wife slowly and painfully die due to complications of paralysis caused of these doctors negligence. We would have gladly paid for the tests out of pocket if it was an insurance thing, but it's not! All they did was blood tests and declared her cancer free based on those results. When I confronted doctor Qasem about telling her she was cancer-free based on the blood test he said well we can't tell if cancer has returned based on blood tests. I SAID SO WHY DID YOU SAY THAT THEN?!?!???? He just looked down at the ground. I just want my soul mate back
