Strategies for Life counseling has been such a blessing to me. Nena is one of a kind. She is patient, understanding, and always so encouraging. She provides me with the tools that I need to grow and allows me to become in my own time. I can genuinely feel her happiness when I discover things that shes so patiently waited on me to see! She is a gem.

She started counseling my abuser about 2 years into seeing me off and on. I begged my abuser to find another therapist. She didn't yet know of the abuse, but she knew they were my partner when she started seeing them. When I told her a story of my abuse her response was, "if that is how it happened". Fast forward, during a civil battle with my abuser she (on record) gave myself diagnoses she never discussed with me. This was later corrected by my psychiatrist, doctor, and years of records. She also lied about who brought my child to their therapy sessions and in turn lied about things that happened at those sessions. Also, later corrected with debit and credit card transactions showing who paid for what sessions (proving who accompanied my child). *Now that I am free of that partner; the diagnoses I did receive 4 years into dating them has been changed by someone who did listen.

I was so happy when I was able to book an appointment, and virtually at that, however I was then super disappointed. I never got the email with information I was promised. I called and left a msg the morning my appointment was scheduled for( since it was for that afternoon and I hadnt heard anything) and never got a call back. As of today, Still havent gotten any communication. Such a let down.

I have benefited greatly from her constructive guidance, professional insight, and kind understanding support. I couldnt recommend her more highly.
