I do reviews as they pop on my phone. I only give honest feedback as it helps others. Unfortunately, in this case, it happened before I left this property. My feedback on the hotel includes: 1. Location. Absolutely awesome. 2. Room. Clean but has in-window air-conditioning which is ridiculously loud. Also, no light in the closet that makes it hard to see your clothes. The rooms are also up the steepest of steep staircases (no elevator). 3. Service. This is the main problem and why I would not go back to this property. First, we were in our room when we heard the door open and found that another couple had opened our door thinking it was their room. That is a safety concern. Second, they only give you one key. I asked the manager another key and she said it would be $2. I have stayed in many hotels and I've never heard of such a charge. I asked if she could just charge me if I don't return the key and she said no. These two items about the Service were the basis for my original 3 rating on service. However, the manager (Priscilla?) apparently read my review and proceeded to harass me and my wife during the remainder of our stay to take it down. She made it incredibly uncomfortable and stressful where we contemplated moving to another hotel. We were very busy and decided we'd just tough it out another day. We came back the last night after a late dinner to find our room locked. No staff is onsite after 7pm or 8pm. I called a hotline number and the operator directed me to get a key from under the front desk phone. I was shocked to discover this was the master key, meaning I could open every door in the hotel. Again, another absurd safety problem that is probably against some type of code. When we got into the room, strangely, our internet and TV did not work. We left early the next morning. I received a call while in a business meeting later that day and, sure enough, it was Priscilla the GM. I told her I couldn't talk right now but could speak with her later. She then became angry and demanded I speak with her at that time. She was very aggressive and I had to hang up. In the strange response she wrote on the Google review she said they upgrades us, etc., and didn't deserve the review. There was no upgrade or it was done without our knowledge. I felt bad leaving a three for service as I didn't want it to impact the people who cleaned the room. They did a great job and left us very nice notes everyday. Did the GM lock us out of the room and cut off our internet and TV intentionally? I can't say for certain. The safety issue and especially the harassment by the GM for me is absolutely intolerable. This is why I updated my review on service to a 1. ----- P.S. No upgrades were asked for or given. Suggesting otherwise is untrue. Also, this rogue manager is doxxing me here in her patently false response. This is beyond disturbing and an obvious attempt to have me delete my 100% truthful review. It is not being deleted and will now cause escalation. Walkability: Great walk to everything location

Nikki and the staff are amazing! You cannot beat this location. It doesnt have some of the nicer amenities that the other area hotels do but the price is much more reasonable. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We loved having the free snack bar! Would definitely stay again.

This is the first time we stayed in West Palm as well as at the Inn, we could not have been more pleased. The Inn was perfectly located to shopping and restaurants, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and the kitchen filled with waters, coffee, tea and snacks was beyond our expectation. If we visit the island again we won't even look for a different location to stay, and as a matter of fact, we would likely adjust our days to be able to stay at the Inn. Rooms: Very comfortable and clean. Nearby activities: The beach is one block away, restaurants just a few blocks away and all the shopping you could ask for. Walkability: Perfect to walk around in the evening, no need to take the car for shopping or eating. Noteworthy details: Great amenities in the "snack kitchen"

Walkability: Great walk to everything location

With extensive experience in the hospitality industry, I understand that it's impossible to please every guest, and unfortunately, Dean's experience fell short of his expectations. However, it's crucial to address the inaccuracies in his review to provide clarity on the situation. Thankfully we have everything on camera:1. Upon Dean Bravos' early arrival, our front desk, Nikki, kindly explained that his room wasn't ready. To accommodate him, she requested me for an upgrade to a suite, which I approved. Regrettably, Dean showed no appreciation for this gesture.2. An incident occurred when neighboring older guests attempted to access Dean's room by mistake. This confusion was swiftly addressed by our staff.3. Dean requested an extra key, which we typically provide for a $1 fee, refunded after return. To avoid conflict, Nikki graciously provided the key at no charge.4. Following his dinner, Dean left a 3-star review on Google without providing any feedback. Upon clarification with his wife, she assured us it was a mistake and would be rectified.5. As the General Manager, I attempted to contact Dean to address his review but received no response to my calls or email.6. In an effort to enhance Dean's experience, I instructed our housekeeping team to provide additional cleaning and leave personalized notes in his room.7. Despite his dissatisfaction, Dean extended his stay and booked another queen room. We upgraded him to his suite again, but unfortunately, there was no acknowledgment of this gesture.8. Upon his extension, new keys were made available in the lobby. Despite our efforts to speak with him, Dean avoided communication with our staff.9. Dean's actions, including unauthorized access to our lobby and master key, were captured on camera. We reached out to ensure his safety and comfort, to which he confirmed everything was satisfactory.10. During his departure, I attempted to discuss his stay, but Dean declined to engage in any kind of conversation and hung up as soon as the hotel name was mentioned.Dean's decision to leave a negative review without addressing his concerns directly is regrettable. It's essential to highlight that dissatisfaction typically prompts communication with the general manager, which was notably absent in this case.Furthermore, this year, we are embarking on more renovations that will include updating our AC units. Additionally, we want to emphasize that our hotel does not have an elevator, as we are housed within a historic building. We are committed to ensuring that our guests are fully informed prior booking about our amenities and the unique charm of our establishment. Continual upgrades are a priority for us as we strive to meet and exceed our guests' expectations. We remain committed to providing exceptional service to all our guests and are saddened by Dean's experience. However, we trust our efforts to address his concerns demonstrate our dedication to guest satisfaction. Kind Regards, Priscila - General Manager
