Dr Sims has done an amazing job on my hips and body. I can walk again without pain and play active sports in retirement. Her attention to detail by referring to my MRIs to lead her to a solution to my body mechanics was second to none. Her vast knowledge of the muscle groups in my legs and hips was extremely helpful. Her use of the steel thumb and Russian vibration was key to loosening scar tissue in my hips and ITB muscles. I have a great regimen of exercises to keep my muscles in tone. I am extremely happy to feel great again.

Dr. Sharon has been working on me for three weeks. She has been fantastic. I was having stiffness and pain in my fingers and hands. With her knowledge and skill, the pain and stiffness is significantly better. No longer is surgery the option for my carpal tunnel .

After experiencing a very bad fall on the tennis court a few years ago, I spent 10 days at Lee Health hospital and Rehab with a broken hip (2 fractures) and broken right shoulder (3 fractures). After surgery, I was involved with physical therapy 2 a week at the Sanctuary. Unfortunately, the therapists felt that there was no more that they could do for me, as there was no improvement after ten months. I did return to the tennis court, but unfortunately for me, there was much pain every time I played. I am now meeting with Dr. Sharon Simms at the Verandah Fitness Center twice a week. We have seen improvement. I actually hugged my husband with both arms extended this morning. My jaw dropped in amazement. I haven't been able to do this in 5 years !!! So if you are interest in improving your quality of life, please speak with Dr. Sharon. She knows when to be aggressive when helping you to improve, and will tell fun stories to distract you from when it may become uncomfortable, but also concentrating on how YOU are feeling. I am forever grateful that we have this opportunity at Verandah to spend time with such a caring, compassionate doctor who loves her occupation and wants YOU to excel and improve YOUR quality of life.
