Mercy Medical Group - Midtown - Urgent Care

I recently visit this urgent care facility that, despite the long wait, left a positive impression on me. While I acknowledge the inconvenience of the wait, there were several aspects of my experience that I found commendable. First and foremost, the staff at this urgent care facility were incredibly friendly and professional. Despite the high patient volume, they remained calm, attentive, and empathetic towards everyone's needs. Their warm and welcoming demeanor helped to alleviate any frustration caused by the wait, and they made sure to keep patients informed about the progress and estimated wait times. Additionally, the facility itself was clean and well-maintained. The waiting area was comfortable, with ample seating and a calming ambiance. I appreciated the efforts made to create a pleasant environment, which helped to make the wait more bearable. Once I was seen by their doctor, I was impressed by the quality of care I received. The doctor took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, ask relevant questions, and thoroughly examine me. They explained the diagnosis and treatment options in a clear and understandable manner, ensuring that I felt informed and involved in my own healthcare decisions. Despite the long wait, I also observed that the staff prioritized urgent cases and emergencies, which is crucial in an urgent care setting. This demonstrated their commitment to providing immediate care to those in need, even if it meant slightly longer wait times for other patients. While there was a long wait at this urgent care facility, I was highly impressed with the staff's professionalism, the cleanliness of the facility, and the quality of care provided. They managed to create a positive and reassuring atmosphere, despite the circumstances. I would highly recommend this urgent care facility to others, keeping in mind the possibility of a longer wait time, but with the assurance of receiving excellent care once seen by the healthcare professionals.

I had an ear pain and soar throat, and I waited about 3 hrs . The doctor spoke about medication but did not prescribe it, and the next day, I called them, and they told me they would call me back but never happened.

Good place , nice medical assistant and RNs doctors are great ! Really take the time to hear you out. Front desk needs to be more professionalism and change their attitude.

The PA who saw us did not appear to have an understanding how to speak to children-- or adults. He addressed my 9-year-old son as "baby," and addressed me as "papa bear." He addressed my son at other times that were not age appropriate, including comments such as, "You're the bravest child I know." These comments and how they were expressed were strange, and extremely unprofessional. For this reason, I will not return to the clinic unless out of absolute necessity.

I've come here 2 days in a row & both days I was told they were at Max Capacity... it was only 9am! Something is definitely wrong with this place, do they not have any doctors? So frustrating & disappointing!
