My husband and I moved to Stonegate eleven years ago. He passed away a couple of years later and I decided to stay. Since I have been widowed, the people who live and work at Stonegate have become my second family and my best friends. There is something going on every day and some evenings. There is never a lonely day here if you don't want there to be.
Stonegate is a wonderful, warm and caring place in which to grow old. It is also fun growing old here.
The person who makes living here the most fun is our director/manager Roz Marcus. Roz came to us about ten years ago. She is the best thing that has ever happened at Stonegate.
She cooks for our breakfasts and dinners in the Clubhouse, she plans picnics and parties. We've watched her children grow and grieved with her when she lost her husband. She is part of our family here and lives in our hearts every day.
