I have purchased a thermostat from Honeywell three years ago and have no problems with it. I receive one as a gift brand new in box never been used and it does not work , called and spent 30 minutes on phone with there support and they could not get unit to work right and i was told they had problems with this unit and they would send me email on getting unit repaired. Four days later no reply from them so i called back they sent me a new email wanting the same information i had already gave them before so i emailed it back still no reply five days later i called again and i'm told this time will not fix or replace unit unless i show proof of purchase. This unit was a xmas gift in box never been used and they want me to contact the buyer and and them to try and search for a receipt. I would never purchase a product made by Honeywell again.
