Went through several heating oil companies before finding Fossil a few years ago and have been extremely happy with them. The other companies were charging what amounted to hundreds more yearly for auto delivery. I could call and “ negotiate” the price but seriously who wants to do this every few months. Fossil has always delivered at or very close to the lowest prices in my area which I check every so often by calling around. I do hope they never get greedy and start raising prices thinking customers aren’t paying attention.
Fossil Fuel advertises the current price on the website which most companies won’t do because they know their prices are not competitive.

We have used Fossil Oil for nearly 20 years. They are competitive, friendly and reliable. There isn't much more that can be said. I suppose the fact that we never had a fuel flow problem or clogged line means the quality of the fuel is great as well. Highly recommended!

I spoke with Coleen 12/15/20 who was very helpful and kind, thank you! Fossil Fuel was the only company, out of almost 10 calls made to other companies, who could deliver the next day on the eve of a winter snow storm (+12" predicted). Even companies with much higher prices couldn't help us, being out of oil on Empty. Their prices are very competitive and it's an ease to set up an account in a minute. Excellent customer service, friendly and fast service! Would highly recommend using Fossil Fuel Oil if you want perhaps the friendliest most helpful service, fastest delivery and the bottom price tier in the market.
