Went in the store to buy a laser printer. 3 different associates warned me that the toner cartridge that comes with the unit will only print 10 pages and I needed to buy a $50 toner cartridge in order to print the 30 pages I needed that night. I found it hard to believe that the starter cartridge would only print so few pages so I ignored them and took the unit home. After researching the printer I bought it turns out that the starter cartridge will print about 600 sheets. Clearly the 3 associates who tried to hard sell me are either ignorant of the products in the store or are interested in making a sale. My guess is that it is option 2.
I will not be back to this store.
UPDATE 2-19-18 Toner cartridge that came with the printer is till going strong! Thanks Staples Up-Sale Crew!!!!
Update 5-21-18... Original toner cartridge still going.... remember to ignore their upsale!!!
Update 7-12-18.... Like the Energizer Bunny, this toner cartridge just keeps going.... IF I do eventually need another cartridge, I am sure Amazon will love to have my business
Update 12-20-23.. finally had to buy that toner. Lol

Today I went to Staples to have them print out some journal pages for me. I cant tell you how helpful Valerie was. She was very busy and greeted everyone waiting. She waited on multiple people at a time, to help everyone out. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my phone and she paged Cory who came to my rescue.He worked with my phone and was able to download the files and send them to Staples for Valerie to print. What an awesome staff they have at this Staples. Very helpful and very friendly. Thanks Staples!

I understand it may be casual dress day Friday, but couldn't tell who was an employee or a customer. The guy at the check out with his baseball cap on backwards?! Priceless!
