If I need something, this little store has so much! Drinks, wine, and chips are always in stock.
Whether it's hamburger burgers you want or a sweet treat, they have all you could need. It's close to the park entrance and has camping supplies, local artists' items, and plenty of firewood along with all the items for smores...
I purchased a fabulous wind chime recently, and a wooden sculpture of a bear is next on my list.
If you need local advice, the owners have decades of knowledge about the area and are truly committed to helping neighbors and visitors alike.
So, next time you are visiting one of the top state parks in the USA, stop and get yourself a little something at a truly wonderful little local general store.

Just a turn or so away from the Hanging Rock State Park front gate, every NC high-altitude adventure needs a general store. They have the necessities and a few extras. And if you're lucky, you'll meet someone's dog.
